About Great Planes Travel

I have been a travel consultant for 30 plus years, and I've loved

every minute of it! I graduated from Luverne, MN high school and attended McConnell School of Travel in Minneapolis MN. After graduating college, I started working at a travel agency in Sioux Falls SD. After a year at this agency they opened a branch office and made me manager.  

I had always wanted to get back to my home town of Luverne and I finally earned a position at Roundwind Travel in Luverne.  I worked hard and became manager of Roundwind Travel after a couple years and worked here for 10 years.

In 1999 I decided it was time to open my own agency, and I have not regretted it for one minute. Travel is my passion, but above that it is helping and giving to others. I have traveled to many destinations

and love getting to know the people of the country and how they live.   

A nice beach with clear blue waters to snorkel in, is my favorite place to be. I love a good challenge. I complain when there is bad weather, but I do love the challenge of assisting our clients to get to where they are wanting to go even when the snow storms hit. I enjoy putting together FIT trips of Europe or Australia.   

My specialties are, but not limited to, destination weddings, group travel, Mexico and the Caribbean and luxury travel.   

I always say "my clients are my friends" and I mean this. I spend a lot of time getting to know my clients and their likes and dislikes so when they are ready to travel, I know where to recommend.

I started my travel career at Great Planes Travel in 1999 - I am now a home based agent. I want my clients to know that I am here to help them with all of their travel needs! My goal is to make my clients feel like they are on vacation from the beginning to the end. Some of the destinations I have visited are several locations in the USA and Mexico, Dominican Republic, Hawaii, Caribbean, Costa Rica and some cruising!

I have been with Great Planes Travel since 2011. I have been very fortunate to travel most of my life. As a child, if we weren’t spending time at the lake, we were traveling all around the US. We also spent many winters in Florida or Mexico. 

Since working in the travel industry, I have found a new love for travel. My favorite part about any destination is learning as much as I can about the culture and history. The travel industry has given me the opportunity to experience and travel the world all while sending my clients on their dream vacations. I love assisting in the planning of experiences that last a lifetime.

I am a specialist in many areas, including Honeymoons, Mexico, Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska, USA travel, Las Vegas and Disney.

I was born and raised in Luverne, Minnesota where I graduated high school in 2016 and then went on to further my education at Lake Area Tech in Watertown. I graduated with my associates business degree in 2018 where I went right into working at Great Planes Travel. 

While working at Great Planes Travel I completed the Rejuiva Travel School online, where I learned so much about the travel industry. I have been there for 2 years now, and I couldn't ask for a better job. My love for travel started at a young age of 10 when my parents took me to Disney World and from then on it just continued as I traveled to many places growing up. During high school I went to Florida, California, Arizona, Detroit, Hawaii and Cabo. During College I traveled to Mexico multiple times, and went on a Bahamas cruise. My love for travel just multiplies daily.

In my free time my fiancé, Connor, and I love spending time with our two huskies Buddy and Bella. We love watching sports and attending any sporting events. Our favorite thing to do is TRAVEL! Connor  grew up traveling all over so I am glad I found someone that loves to travel as I do.

I’ve dreamed of going to Disney World as long as can remember. When I had kids of my own I made dream a reality. After many trips over the past 7 years, I can confirm that Disney World is magical. 

I love that I can start planning and reserving our ‘must dos’ long before we arrive, so can just relax and enjoy our family adventure.
